About the Role
At Via, our mission is to provide the best health and wellbeing support to as many people as possible, helping them to change their lives for the better. Last year, we supported over 11,000 people across the UK affected by alcohol and drug use. Everything we do is driven by our values: Care – care for people is at the heart of everything we do; Be human – we are accessible, genuine and humble, always learning; Do the right thing – we’re open, honest and inclusive, and we get things done.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced and growing organisation as a Criminal Justice Recovery Practitioner for our Hillingdon Service. You will facilitate seamless access to drug and alcohol service provision across the criminal justice pathway, supporting improved outcomes and reductions in offending behaviour. Your responsibilities will include delivering assessments for Drug/Alcohol related court orders and prison engagement, providing evidence-based interventions (both brief and structured), and recovery planning. You will also deliver criminal justice interventions such as supporting the IOM scheme and conducting Required Assessments (RAs), Drug Rehabilitation Requirement (DRR), and Alcohol Treatment Requirement (ATR) assessments.
This role is more than just a job – you will help people rebuild their lives, reconnect with family and friends, and return to work or education. We are looking for individuals with compassion, strong communication skills, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. If you are a good listener, stay curious, and want to make a difference, this role is for you.
