Via Harrow delivers a full range of clinical and psychosocial interventions across the borough, supporting individuals and their families to improve health, wellbeing, and long term recovery.
We’re looking for a compassionate and motivated Recovery Practitioner to join our Harrow Recovery Service. You will manage a caseload and deliver assessments, structured interventions and recovery planning. Your role will include providing harm reduction advice, BBV interventions, overdose prevention and naloxone training, facilitating group and one-to-one psychosocial sessions, and supporting access to education, employment and wider wellbeing activities. You will work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, maintain accurate case records, and follow safeguarding policies.
Experience
- Supporting people with substance misuse or other vulnerable groups
About you
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and meet deadlines
- Good IT skills and confidence using case management systems
- Understanding of safeguarding, risk management, CQC and GDPR requirements
Qualifications
NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to complete within 1 year)
