Location
West London, Islington and Surrey. The exact location will depend on available bank or sessional opportunities. A hybrid working approach is offered, with a requirement for high visual presence in the community. All reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed.

About the Role
At Via, recovery from substance misuse is about more than treatment; it’s about rebuilding lives. As a key member of our award-winning IPS Into Work team, you will help people in recovery find meaningful employment that supports their long-term wellbeing. Employment can be a powerful part of someone’s recovery journey, and as an IPS Employment Specialist, you will support individuals to rediscover purpose, confidence, and independence through work.
- Provide one-to-one, tailored employment support to people in recovery.
- Collaborate closely with clinical teams, support workers, and community partners to ensure a joined-up approach.
- Build relationships with local employers to create inclusive job opportunities.
Full training will be provided, so prior expertise in recovery is not required. You will be part of delivering IPS (Individual Placement and Support), a proven evidence-based model that helps people with mental health and/or substance use challenges achieve their employment goals.

Experience
No prior experience in recovery or employment support is required as full training is provided. Experience working with vulnerable groups or in community settings would be advantageous but not essential.
