About the Role
Are you curious about data and how it can improve services? Looking to build a career in analytics while learning on the job? As a Data Product Analyst Apprentice at Peabody, you will help develop reporting and analytics products using our new enterprise data platform, supporting smarter decisions across the organisation. This entry-level opportunity is designed for those who want to start a career in data and analytics. You will work closely with experienced data professionals, including the Head of Data Products, while completing a Level 4 Data Analyst Apprenticeship and gaining hands-on experience delivering real data products that make a difference.
Your responsibilities will include supporting the development of reporting and analytics products, collaborating with data engineers, platform engineers, and business subject-matter experts to deliver high-quality data products. You will engage with internal stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into useful insights, explore patterns and trends to highlight opportunities for service improvement, and apply analytical techniques to identify innovative solutions. You will also test and quality-assure data outputs to ensure accuracy and reliability, follow data governance policies, contribute to the analytics centre of excellence, and support evidence-based business cases for transformation and change initiatives. Additionally, you will learn how to analyse, visualise, and present insights clearly for decision-makers.
The apprenticeship lasts 14 months and includes formal training, workshops, and learning sessions provided by Learn Tech. You will apply your learning through real projects, complete assignments and assessments, participate in regular reviews, and receive mentoring and support from experienced data professionals. The programme culminates in a final End Point Assessment to demonstrate your knowledge and competence.
