About the Role
We are seeking an Allocations & Lettings Specialist to join our busy Allocations team and help make the best use of our homes by supporting customers to move safely, fairly, and quickly into the housing they need. This hands-on role is central to our service, involving management of lettings, transfers, and rehousing cases. You will work closely with colleagues and partners to ensure all activities are compliant, customer-focused, and well-organised.

Your responsibilities will include managing lettings and allocations cases such as voids, transfers, and priority moves; working within housing policy, legislation, and nomination agreements; communicating clearly and sensitively with customers, including in complex situations; collaborating with internal teams, local authorities, and other partners; and maintaining accurate records to contribute to strong performance and compliance.

Experience
Proven experience in housing allocations and/or lettings with a strong understanding of policy-led decision-making within a regulated environment.

Highly organised and detail-focused with the confidence to balance customer needs and service requirements. Excellent communication skills, especially in sensitive or complex situations. Strong Excel skills and experience working confidently with data, spreadsheets, and reporting.
