We are looking for a high-potential candidate to join the Data & Analytics team as a Data Analyst focused on Data Product. This role is responsible for analysing, shaping and maintaining data assets and data products aimed at an internal audience across all business divisions. You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of datasets and business specialties.
Core skills are essential, and candidates should demonstrate examples of problem solving and using data to solve problems, whether from academic or work experience. You will regularly collaborate with analysts, data scientists, engineers and business stakeholders, interpreting and understanding their requirements to ensure data products and insights deliver the most effective outcomes.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about fast-paced learning and hands-on data analysis and product development within a creative, dynamic business environment.
Experience
Bachelor's degree or above in a mathematical or problem-solving field such as Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science or a related discipline. Hands-on experience with SQL is required; experience with other analytical tools or languages (e.g. Python, Looker/Tableau) is highly valued. Basic knowledge of data architecture and semantic layer concepts is a plus but not essential.
About you
You are a natural problem solver with the ability to work collaboratively and adaptively across teams. You learn rapidly and develop technical and analytical skills to support a varied stakeholder group. You are a self-motivated team player with a clear passion for using data to solve problems. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, with the ability to translate data into clear insights for non-technical audiences.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant discipline as noted above. Demonstrable experience with SQL and data analysis tools is required.
