Location
London Borough of Waltham Forest - George Mason Lodge, Leytonstone and Alliston House, Walthamstow. Both care homes support older people with physical and sensory disabilities, cognitive impairment, and dementia.

Hours
Full Time - 36 hours per week, working a mixture of late and early shifts including weekends and bank holidays, between 7:00am and 9:30pm as required.

Salary
SO2 £41,511 to £43,449 per year

About the Role
We are seeking experienced, professional, and caring Day Senior Co-ordinators to join two of our residential care homes. The role requires CQC knowledge and experience, reliability, professionalism, and a passion for caring for elderly residents. You will manage a team delivering high quality, person-centred care and provide direct support to residents with complex needs both in the residential setting and the community. Responsibilities include fulfilling the duties of a Day Senior Co-ordinator in line with the National Care Standards Act 2000, supporting residents with dementia and mental health needs, promoting independence, and enhancing quality of life. Respecting residents' privacy and dignity at all times is essential. Both homes are inspected by the Care Quality Commission and aspire to be rated Outstanding.

Experience
Experience working in residential care with knowledge of CQC standards is essential. Proven ability to manage and support a team in a care setting is required.

About you
You are reliable, smart, vibrant, trustworthy, and passionate about providing excellent care to elderly residents. You must be able to work flexibly including early, late, weekend, and bank holiday shifts. Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team are important.

Qualifications
Applicants should hold or be working towards a relevant care qualification such as NVQ Level 3, QCF, or equivalent. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to read and write English and be prepared to undertake a written test. Sound IT skills are also required. This role is subject to satisfactory employment references, identity checks, DBS clearance, and safer recruitment practices due to working with vulnerable adults. Fluency in spoken English sufficient for effective role performance is required, though this does not mandate specific qualifications or accents.
