Location
City of Westminster with hybrid working model. You will be expected to spend a minimum of 60% of your contractual working hours (approximately 3 days a week pro rata, averaged over a month) working at one of UKHSA's core HQs (Birmingham, Leeds, Liverpool, and London).

Salary
£41,983 - £52,113 depending on location and experience. This role attracts a Market Pay Supplement (MPS) of up to £5,000, reviewed annually.

About the Role
As a Delivery Manager within the UK Health Security Agency's Communications and End User Services team, you will apply your passion and extensive experience in Agile development to ensure consistent and effective delivery of products and services. You will support delivery across technical platforms and services, aligning delivery outcomes with operational service performance.

You will promote and embed Agile working practices in line with the Government Service Standard, Scrum Guide, and Digital Products & Services Handbook, acting as an Agile ambassador within the Chief Data Office division and the wider organisation.

Your responsibilities include building and maintaining motivated, collaborative teams focused on continuous improvement, removing delivery and technical impediments, managing sustainable backlogs, and coordinating work flow using Agile tools such as Kanban and JIRA. You will oversee dependencies across systems and teams, monitor live service activity, facilitate Agile ceremonies, mentor teams in self-organisation and cross-functionality, and maintain progress dashboards.

This role operates across enterprise workplace and platform services including collaboration tools, identity services, and end user computing, supporting delivery within complex technical environments.

Experience
- Significant experience as a Delivery Manager, Senior Delivery Manager, or Scrum Master.
- Proven planning skills to prioritise and manage development sprints and urgent changes.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills to communicate progress and blockers to senior stakeholders and maintain effective Agile teams.
- Experience in problem ownership and resolution.
- Experience working with or alongside technical/platform teams such as DevOps, infrastructure, or end user services.
- Understanding of digital service operations in live environments, including incident, change, and request management processes.
