About the Role
THE·TEAM operates at the epicenter of sports, music and entertainment, delivering branding, signage, custom fabrication, live event production and experiential operations globally. The finishing department is a vital part of our production facility, ensuring that campaign and event products arrive finished, trimmed and ready for installation or use. As Deputy Manager of the Finishing Unit, you will be responsible for finishing and collating printed or supplied products according to job bag and campaign specifications, working across multiple material types, large and small format items, and 3D structures using a variety of finishing machinery.

Working closely with the Finishing Unit Manager, you will help manage the finishing department and its team members, ensuring quality standards are met consistently. You will collaborate with production management and other departments to ensure all projects are produced and delivered on time, meeting and exceeding client requirements.

Your daily tasks will include working to set tasks, following campaign finishing requirements, reporting to the Finishing Unit Manager, and working as part of a team to achieve daily objectives to a high standard. You will follow an online work schedule and adhere to health & safety rules and procedures while communicating effectively and professionally across teams.

In the absence of the Finishing Unit Manager, you will take on additional responsibilities such as setting and managing team workloads, scheduling projects and finishing requirements on the internal MI system (training provided), understanding risk and escalation processes, and ensuring the finishing department operates efficiently and productively.

Your finishing duties will include operating Zund cutting tables for cutting, kiss cutting and routing; laminating with heated rollers and roll rollers; hand finishing such as vinyl wrap mounting and weeding; eyelets and hemming for banners and textiles; and various manual finishing operations including gluing, assembly and taping.
