As Senior Legal Counsel, you will act as a senior legal partner to THE·TEAM’s Corporate Talent Representation business in EMEA & APAC, providing expert advice across commercial, corporate, employment, and compliance matters. Reporting directly to the Associate General Counsel, Corporate Talent, you will be a key legal adviser and escalation point for senior stakeholders within the Corporate team and Talent Representation divisions across EMEA and APAC.

Your responsibilities will include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial and employment agreements such as senior agent employment agreements, consultancy agreements, service agreements, introducer agreements, partnership agreements, and NDAs. You will collaborate closely with the Finance team on complex bonus and commission structures and work with People, Finance, and business stakeholders on sensitive issues, providing strategic advice and managing external specialist counsel as needed.

Additional duties include assisting with acquisitions and strategic transactions, including drafting and negotiating acqui-hire agreements, bid letters, and letters of intent, reviewing due diligence reports, managing external counsel, and supporting integration efforts. You will advise on regional compliance requirements including anti-bribery, AML, data protection, and international sanctions, oversee talent representation agreements for the Golf and Action Sports divisions, and manage disputes, litigation oversight, and debt recovery matters.

You will work closely with US and global legal colleagues and instruct external specialist lawyers across the global network to meet business needs. This role requires a proactive, collaborative approach and the ability to manage complex, multi-jurisdictional legal matters effectively.

Experience
- Minimum 5+ years PQE, with strong preference for in-house legal experience
- Proven expertise across commercial, corporate, employment, and compliance law, including data protection
- Significant involvement in M&A and other strategic transactions
- Demonstrated ability to advise senior stakeholders with excellent commercial judgement and communication skills
- Experience managing diverse workloads and delivering high-quality advice under tight deadlines
- Ability to work effectively across multiple jurisdictions

Qualifications
- Qualified solicitor or equivalent legal qualification
