Based within the Non-residential service in Wembley. This service has step free access.

Hours
37.5 hours per week Monday to Sunday on a rota working 09:00 - 17:00. You may also be required to work weekends, evenings, and bank holidays. Participation in the out of hours on call rota for managers is required.

Salary
£31,000 per annum

About the Role
This is a great opportunity for a Deputy Service Manager to join our team based in Wembley. You will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with contractual obligations and regulatory requirements, while assisting the Service Manager with service monitoring, development, and delivery. When required, you will act on behalf of the Service Manager. All responsibilities are carried out in line with the organisation’s policies, procedures, commissioner requirements, and theory of change, ensuring the service remains flexible and responsive to participants’ needs.
You will ensure a quality service is delivered in line with contractual requirements and encourage the creation of a psychologically informed environment that provides person-centred support.
Key responsibilities include:
- Line management and leadership, supporting your team by providing advice, guidance, and support throughout their employment lifecycle
- Supporting the Service Manager in leading the day-to-day operational delivery of the service
- Ownership of risk management, ensuring processes and policies are followed
- Financial management, including petty cash and budget oversight
- Contract management, internal auditing, administration, and other general duties as required

Requirements

Experience
Knowledge and background in mental health, understanding the complexities that can arise, and ability to support others in delivering person-centred care.

Passionate, driven, and motivated to lead the service in a trauma-informed and inclusive way. Able to work flexibly to meet service needs and bring new ideas to develop the service further. Adaptable and respectful of equity, diversity, and inclusion. Able to create a compassionate, supportive, and empowering environment within the service and in communication with others internally and externally.
