About the Role
At Moody's, we unite the brightest minds to turn today’s risks into tomorrow’s opportunities by fostering an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome to be themselves—with the freedom to exchange ideas, think innovatively, and listen meaningfully to each other and our customers. Moody’s is transforming how the world sees risk as a global leader in ratings and integrated risk assessment, advancing AI to move from insight to action—enabling intelligence that understands complexity and responds to it. We decode risk to unlock opportunity, helping clients navigate uncertainty with clarity, speed, and confidence.

The Director, Pricing Strategy leads firm-wide pricing direction, model development, and cross-business unit innovation within the Central Product Strategy team. This role involves designing, building, and reviewing pricing models, balancing tactical execution with a long-term vision including AI-enabled and usage-based approaches. You will establish Moody's Analytics-wide pricing direction by challenging existing approaches using data, market intelligence, and client insight.

As a thought leader on pricing, you will bring new ideas and frameworks to help the business achieve scale and growth goals. You will partner closely with Business Units to implement new pricing approaches that improve consistency, transparency, and commercial outcomes across the portfolio. You will establish pricing guidelines and standards, simplify processes, and facilitate governance forums to maintain alignment and oversight.

Supporting strategic partnerships—including cloud, data, distribution, and Generative AI—you will help integrate pricing with product and commercial scale. Tracking market, competitive, and technology trends, you will translate insights into actionable implications for pricing, product, and investment decisions in collaboration with portfolio management teams.

Our Central Product Strategy team sits at the intersection of all Business Units within Moody's Analytics, combining rigorous model-building with strategic pricing direction to drive commercial innovation. Joining this team means engaging in high-impact work at the forefront of pricing transformation, including AI-enabled and usage-based pricing models that help Moody's Analytics scale, grow, and stay ahead of a rapidly evolving market.

Moody’s is an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender expression, gender identity, or any other characteristic protected by law.

Candidates may be asked to disclose securities holdings pursuant to Moody’s Policy for Securities Trading and position requirements. Employment is contingent upon compliance with this policy, including remediation of holdings as necessary.
