Hours
Part Time - 20 hours per week - Term Time only - Monday to Friday with split days built around school start and finish times. Occasionally full days may be required for training, which is paid. Some attendance outside of term time may also be required for training purposes.

Salary
Grade ME6 - £30,288 - £32,070 pro rata

We are recruiting Driver/Attendants to join our in-house Passenger Transport team. In this customer-facing role, you will help transport children with special educational needs and disabilities, as well as vulnerable adults, from home to schools, community centres, and activities. The role primarily involves driving large minibuses around Merton and the wider South London area.

You will be a familiar and recognisable face to our service users who travel daily, working alongside a Passenger Assistant as part of a team. This is a permanent position with structured career progression and a focus on enabling positive change through ambitious management and leadership.

Applicants will be required to obtain an enhanced DBS certificate, which will be arranged upon offer of employment.

Experience
Previous driving experience is essential, particularly with larger vehicles. Experience working with children or vulnerable adults is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications
Applicants must hold a valid category D or D1 driving licence to be eligible for this role. An enhanced DBS check will be required and arranged by the employer.
