About the Role
Merton is London’s best kept secret, offering beautiful open spaces, excellent transport links, and ambitious plans to improve quality of life in the borough. We are committed to structured career progression and enabling positive change through strong management and leadership. As part of the in-house Passenger Transport team, Passenger Assistants play a vital customer-facing role, supporting the safe transport of children with special educational needs and disabilities, as well as vulnerable adults, from home to schools, community centres, and activities. You will work alongside a Driver/Attendant on board the vehicle and become a familiar, trusted face to our service users who travel daily. We are Merton United - One Borough, One Team.
Experience
Previous experience is not essential; however, a caring and patient attitude is important when supporting vulnerable passengers.
