About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Occupational Therapy Team at the London Borough of Merton. The OT Service supports residents of all ages across Merton, aiming to improve lives by promoting independence, choice, and enabling meaningful, fulfilled living.

We are seeking a motivated and talented Occupational Therapist with excellent communication skills who can work independently and manage their own caseload. Our service is paperless, so strong IT skills are essential. The successful candidate will demonstrate professional curiosity, support service development, and use evidence-based practice.

In this role, you will complete occupational therapy assessments and plan interventions. Based on your assessments, you will identify suitable equipment and adaptations to promote independent living and improve quality of life.

You will collaborate closely with colleagues within the occupational therapy team and other adult social care teams including reablement, hospital to home, and locality social work teams. The role offers opportunities for training, development, and staff supervision.

Experience
Experience working in local authority settings is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications
You must hold a degree (BSc or MSc) in Occupational Therapy and be currently registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
