About the Role
You will undertake planned preventative maintenance and emergency electrical work within a hospital environment, applying your skills and knowledge to ensure safe, cost-effective maintenance for the Trust. You will be responsible for understanding and maintaining engineering services, systems, and building structures across NHS/Trust premises, ensuring all plant and equipment are used safely and efficiently. Working as part of a departmental team, you will support colleagues and collaborate with staff at all levels and disciplines throughout the Trust. You will provide maintenance services to all Trust buildings and off-site properties, often working unsupervised with a flexible approach. Timely completion of tasks and accurate record-keeping through the requisite systems are essential. You will keep up to date with relevant legislation and attend training as directed by the Estate Manager. Adherence to Health & Safety regulations and Trust safety policies is mandatory. Compassion and mindfulness towards clients, along with safe use, security, and storage of plant, equipment, and tools, are key aspects of the role. The position also requires safe and timely driving between Trust properties in accordance with Trust policies.

Experience
Proven experience in electrical maintenance within a complex building environment, preferably healthcare or similar settings. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications
