London Borough of Lewisham - predominantly office based at various Lewisham offices including Laurence House, Catford, SE6 4RU, with some community based locations within the borough. Hybrid working arrangements available.

Salary
£44,235 - £45,852 per annum (PO1). All appointments will be offered at the minimum spinal column point for the grade unless matching current salary with evidential proof.

About the Role
Join the London Borough of Lewisham and make a difference to our vibrant and culturally diverse communities. As an Employment Specialist, you will deliver the DWP Connect To Work Programme through the Supported Employment Quality Framework (SEQF). Your role involves providing expert, person-centred employment support to individuals with diverse needs, managing a caseload of 20-25 participants. You will work collaboratively with participants, health professionals, service providers and employers to ensure a smooth journey into sustainable paid employment aligned with participants’ preferences. Training for SEQF delivery will be provided. This is a fixed term 2-year contract with the possibility of extension.

Experience
Experience in Employment Support is essential. Proven ability to deliver person-centred advice and guidance and to manage a caseload effectively.

Excellent interpersonal and people skills with the ability to work alongside a diverse range of individuals. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and consistency in service delivery. Ability to liaise and support service-based content editors to maintain accurate and up-to-date information. Enthusiastic about making a positive impact in the community.

Qualifications
Relevant qualifications or experience in employment support or related fields are desirable. Training for the Supported Employment Quality Framework (SEQF) will be provided.
