About the Role
Guy’s and St Thomas’ is among the UK’s busiest and most successful NHS foundation trusts, providing a full range of hospital and community services for people in south London, as well as specialist care for patients from further afield. The post-holder is responsible for the successful implementation of a portfolio of diverse projects, including multimillion-pound major engineering-related projects. You will act as the GSTT client, ensuring effective and efficient programme management from inception to completion, meeting or exceeding briefs, budget control, and delivery of quality products. This role may involve leading an internal team supported by a multi-disciplinary external team to manage the overall process of project delivery, ensuring compliance with governance processes and achieving safety, time, cost, and quality parameters.

Experience
Significant successful experience in construction project delivery for procuring and managing projects in live, physically congested, high public footfall urban environments, delivering projects on time, to budget, and meeting the requirements as set out in governance.

About you
You should possess strong knowledge and significant experience of contract management and procurement, cost management, budgeting, and supply chain management. You will be proactive in health and safety considerations to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and best practices, and you will lead by example, modeling the Trust values and behaviors.

Qualifications
Formal qualification in an engineering discipline is essential, along with a postgraduate management qualification.
