About the Role
Reporting to the Global Head of Sustainable Investment Research, the ESG Research Analyst will work within the Sustainable Finance & Investment (SFI) Research Team in the Data & Analytics division of London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG). The role involves developing and improving corporate ESG scoring models and assessment tools, as well as co-authoring high-profile thematic publications on ESG and sustainability. You will collaborate with team members and engage with LSEG's global client base, investor initiatives, academics, project partners, and other collaborators in the sustainable investment space. This position offers an opportunity to gain detailed experience integrating sustainability and financial data in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.

Experience
- Ideally 2+ years of experience in quantitative and qualitative ESG research
- Experience in an investment context is preferred but not required
- Proven track record of producing impactful publications and strong analytical writing and presentation skills is an asset
- Experience in developing ESG-related analytics products and frameworks is a plus
- Proficiency in Python or similar analytical tools is highly desirable; experience with large language models (LLMs) is an asset

Qualifications
No specific qualifications are mandated, but relevant academic background or professional experience in ESG, sustainability, finance, or related fields will be advantageous.
