About the Role
Are you an articulate, experienced finance professional who wants to work for a service that puts customers first and strives for success? This position within Enfield Council’s Exchequer Services is responsible for the Purchase to Pay (P2P) service, ensuring that P2P systems are maintained and users are supported to enable the Council to purchase and pay suppliers efficiently. Key responsibilities include maintaining the Council’s supplier file, creating or amending supplier records with stringent verification and compliance checks, providing end user support for purchasing and payments, administering Council Staff Purchase Cards, and working collaboratively as part of a team managing shared workloads and mailboxes. This role offers the opportunity to combine high levels of customer service with the delivery of challenging performance targets in a supportive environment.
Experience
- Knowledge of Purchasing Support and Accounts Payable functions
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, including the ability to interpret detailed and complex financial information
- Experience delivering exceptional customer service
