About the Role
The Senior Safe & Connected Officer supports the delivery of Enfield’s 24/7 telecare service by overseeing incoming calls from residents in crisis and ensuring timely, compassionate responses. You will guide the team, manage complex situations, and contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the service. This role requires strong leadership, crisis management, and safeguarding skills to maintain high-quality support for vulnerable residents.

Experience
Experience in telecare, emergency response, call handling, or community support is essential. Proven skills in crisis management and safeguarding are required. Experience leading or supporting a team in a high-pressure environment is highly desirable.
About You
You should be confident in making sound decisions under pressure and communicating clearly and empathetically. Familiarity with telecare systems and service improvement initiatives is an advantage. You are motivated to contribute to service development and deliver compassionate support to vulnerable residents.
Qualifications
Relevant qualifications or training in telecare, emergency response, safeguarding, or related fields are beneficial but not mandatory. A commitment to ongoing professional development is expected.
