About the Role
Enfield Council is committed to providing high quality social work services to support over 300 looked after children, with a focus on placing as many children as possible within our in-house foster placements. We encourage young people to ‘stay put’ beyond the age of 18 to provide stability and ongoing support. Our Fostering Service works closely with KRATOS, our Children in Care Council, to continuously improve the service. We are also part of the North London Fostering Consortium, collaborating with five other boroughs on various initiatives. This role is ideal for a qualified and registered social worker who is passionate about supporting foster carers and meeting the needs of looked after children. Enfield’s Social Care Centre of Excellence supports professional development and high standards of social work practice, fostering an environment where staff can thrive and deliver excellent care to vulnerable children and young people.
