In this role, you will manage the smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen across multiple outlets, maintaining the company’s reputation for food quality at all times. You will organise the planning, preparation, cooking, and presentation of food to the standards required by the company and client. You will ensure supplies are correctly issued, used, and accounted for, carrying out stock takes and food rotation procedures.
You will set objectives and be responsible for the day-to-day running of the kitchens, including supervising recruitment and selection. Assessing employee performance, recognising training needs and potential will also be part of your role. Staying updated on current food trends and ingredients is essential.
Financial control is key; you will control and achieve agreed financial targets while maximising commercial opportunities and communicating these with your team. Ensuring compliance with statutory and company requirements regarding Health and Safety, Food Safety, and environmental legislation is mandatory.

Experience
Proven experience within a demanding kitchen at the relevant level.
Ability to negotiate and build relationships with suppliers.

Qualifications
Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate or above.
