Remote working with the requirement to travel to Westminster, Camden, Lambeth, and Royal Borough Kensington & Chelsea.

Hours
37 hours per week. Monday to Thursday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Salary
£27,820 per annum

About the Role
Are you passionate about helping people overcome barriers to employment? Do you thrive in a frontline role where empathy, organisation, and community engagement are key? We are seeking a proactive and compassionate Expression of Interest Adviser to join our Connect to Work programme. This vital role acts as the first point of contact for individuals seeking support, ensuring a smooth and effective journey into employment services.

You will manage incoming referrals, conduct initial eligibility and needs assessments, and provide clear, compassionate communication to potential participants, ensuring timely handovers to Employment Specialists. The role involves building and maintaining effective referral pathways with community organisations, health services, and statutory partners; representing the programme at outreach events; maintaining accurate records in line with GDPR and safeguarding standards; and supporting internal reporting processes to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

This position requires flexibility to meet role demands, including travel and occasional overnight stays. You will champion the programme’s values of inclusion, recovery, and employment as a health intervention, helping to empower local initiatives that change lives.

Requirements

Experience
- Proven experience supporting individuals with multiple and complex needs, particularly those with learning disabilities.
- Good working knowledge of the local labour market in the specified geographical locations.
- Experience working in a target-driven environment and delivering services to meet contractual and quality standards.
- Fully IT literate, proficient in Microsoft Office 365 products and modern digital technologies such as Microsoft Teams.

Qualifications
- Desirable: Knowledge of the employability or recruitment industry.
- Desirable: Understanding of Supported Employment frameworks (IPS/SEQF).
- Desirable: Experience working in advice and guidance environments.
- Full driving licence is desirable.
