Facilities Officer £27,855 - £29,139 per annum Facilities Management Team is recruiting for a facilities officer. We are currently looking for a Facilities Officer to join our busy team. This is a full time role based at Newham Dockside. The start and end times vary and a rota system is in operation to ensure there is coverage on reception and in FM between the hours of 7.00 am and 5.00 pm. You will be the first point of contact for anyone coming in to the building. A professional and friendly welcome is expected. This is NOT a hybrid role – it requires the successful candidate to be present in person in the workplace Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week. Facilities Officers play a key role in delivering services to internal colleagues and tenants at Dockside as well as to visitors, contractors and residents. This is a busy and at times challenging role which requires: resilience a very strong customer focus along with exceptional customer service skills the ability to use IT and learn bespoke systems including the ID card system general administration undertaking routine building inspections fire warden duties strong team work and overall, a friendly, warm and approachable manner desire to resolve issues at first point of contact You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to build, develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues at all levels and be able to deal with routine as well as sensitive and difficult matters.
