About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for three Family Support Navigators to join the multi-disciplinary team within the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH). These roles form a vital part of the Early Help Service within Family Services, processing all incoming referrals and matching need to service to ensure families receive appropriate support at the earliest possible time. The post holders will work closely with locality-based Best Start Family Hubs to stay informed of services available to children and families locally and ensure appropriate Early Help Services are in place. This role is internal only and open to current Barnet Council employees.

Experience
- Strong knowledge of pathways and thresholds to advise service users and partners effectively
- Ability to analyse MASH data to monitor emerging needs and provide appropriate support
- Experience in outreach work promoting Early Help services in the community
- Familiarity with multi-agency partnership working and leading joined-up approaches

- Ability to offer information, advice, and guidance to families and professionals to prevent escalation to statutory involvement
- Commitment to relational, strengths-based, and restorative practice ensuring meaningful involvement of children and families
- Passion for delivering high-quality, equitable services that respond to community diversity
- Ability to develop partnership working across universal Early Help services including education, health, housing, and voluntary/community/faith sectors
- Professional approach focused on developing practitioner confidence and early identification of families in need
