Salary

About the Role
Join the Building Safer Relationships team within the Multi-Agency Child Protection Service, supporting families affected by domestic abuse. This specialist role involves direct work with parents and carers who have perpetrated, experienced, or been impacted by domestic abuse, with a particular focus on engaging fathers and male carers. The role requires building safe, respectful, and purposeful relationships that promote accountability, behaviour change, and safer family relationships while prioritising the safety and needs of children.

The team works alongside social workers and partner agencies to provide targeted, relationship-based interventions that promote safety, accountability, and change. Confidence in engaging individuals who may be reluctant, defensive, or ambivalent about change is essential, alongside maintaining a clear focus on risk, safeguarding, and the voice of the child.

Experience
