About the Role
Our multi-award-winning organisation is looking to recruit a Care and Support Worker to join our Retirement Living Service. This pivotal role is based on a rota basis which may include evening and weekend shifts. You will help ensure our residents live meaningful lives and feel involved within their community.
The role involves delivering care services within our Retirement Living Service to excellent standards. You will assist residents with personal care, preparing meals, and domestic tasks. You will implement and monitor care and support plans to meet the individual needs of a diverse group of tenants. Additionally, you will contribute to building community spirit by participating in, encouraging, enabling, and facilitating social events that meet the needs of diverse tenants.
There is a genuine occupational requirement under the Sex Discrimination Act 1974 that the person for this role must be female.
Experience
Previous experience within a care or health setting is desirable.
About you
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
Ability to work shifts including weekends and evenings.
Qualifications
NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care is desirable but not essential.
