This role is based on a rota system which may include evening and weekend shifts. Shift patterns to cover include:
Week 1 - 7.00am to 3.00pm
Week 2 - 9.00am to 5.00pm
Week 3 - 12.00pm to 8.00pm

£14.00 per hour
About the Role
Our multi-award-winning organisation is seeking a Care and Support Worker to join our Retirement Living Service on a bank staff basis, providing relief cover for absences on a casual, as-and-when-required basis. This pivotal role helps ensure our residents live meaningful lives and feel involved within their community. You will deliver care services to excellent standards, assisting residents with personal care, meal preparation, and domestic tasks. You will implement and monitor care and support plans tailored to the individual needs of a diverse group of tenants. Additionally, you will contribute to building community spirit by participating in, encouraging, enabling, and facilitating social events that meet the needs of our diverse residents.
There is a genuine occupational requirement under the Sex Discrimination Act 1974 that the person for this role must be female.
Experience
Previous experience within a care or health setting is desirable.
About you
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships. You must be able to work shifts including evenings and weekends. A caring and compassionate approach is essential to support our residents effectively.
Qualifications
NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care is desirable but not essential.
