About the Role
As a Finance Systems Analyst, you will support the effective operation of all finance IT systems and interfaces. You will be the first point of contact to resolve queries related to all finance IT systems, ensuring user expectations and issue resolutions meet the Service Level Agreements. Your main responsibilities will include being the first point of contact for issue resolution and queries, resolving routine issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to escalate and document more complex cases, and contributing to overall team success. You will ensure stakeholder change requests are promptly actioned, subject to adherence to the Chart of Account design framework. Acting as the system custodian, you will ensure the completeness and integrity of the finance IT system and assist in developing robust and efficient finance systems controls. Additionally, you will maintain, create, or update the Purchase Order Workflow and Invoice Workflow within the D365 purchase order system, ensuring approvers are set up in line with Financial Regulations. You will update procedure manuals for all finance systems and support staff training on system usage, including new configurations, to embed correct usage and proactively help users utilize system functionality.

Experience
- Demonstrable experience working with finance IT systems, specifically D365 accounting system
- Experience maintaining a robust finance IT systems control environment
- Prior experience handling large volumes of financial transactions on computerized financial systems

About you
- Passionate, enthusiastic, and able to add value to a thriving organisation
- Strong understanding of finance processes, procedures, systems, and data management
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder requests
- Knowledge of SQL, including query creation and transforming data into reporting and analytics, is a plus

Qualifications
- Hold or be studying for a CCAB recognised accounting qualification with supporting CPD
- Pending confirmation of legislative changes, there may be an expectation to study towards a professional qualification if not already qualified
