About the Role
Pinnacle Group is seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to join our Finance Team on a temporary, ongoing assignment. Reporting directly to the Group Reporting Manager, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial information, managing audit processes across multiple entities, and preparing year-end financial statements for filing.

Our Finance Team, part of Central Services, provides expert support across the business to ensure efficient operations, best practice, and financial strength—enabling us to Transform Communities and Change Lives.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong finance professional to join a growing organisation, delivering accurate statutory reporting, ensuring IFRS compliance, and contributing to continuous improvements in financial control.

Key responsibilities include managing audit queries and deliverables for audit planning, interim and year-end audits; preparing financial statements for 28+ single entities and assisting with group consolidations using CaseWare; reviewing group structure, investments, and goodwill for impairment; ensuring timely filing of signed accounts at Companies House; maintaining the lease database under IFRS 16; working with Operations, Legal and Data Analytics on new contracts under IFRS 15; calculating provisions for intercompany balances under IFRS 9; preparing year-end tax analysis; calculating intercompany interest charges; and supporting ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.

Experience
- Part qualified accountant with 3 to 4 exams remaining (ACA or ACCA)
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Extensive audit experience with confidence managing auditors and audit processes
- Experience with IFRS, including IFRS 9, 15 and 16
- Excellent IT skills, including MS Office
- Experience with CaseWare is highly desirable
