We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Sous Chef to join our team. This is a fantastic chance for a passionate chef to take the next step in their culinary career and be part of a business that is obsessed about food and developing talent.

Key responsibilities include preparing and cooking dishes according to recipes and standards set by the head chef while ensuring food safety standards are adhered to at all times; managing your station by overseeing the production of all dishes assigned to you, maintaining supplies and cleanliness in line with policies; maintaining high quality standards for all dishes, ensuring presentation and taste are considered at all times; collaborating positively and effectively with team members and coaching junior chefs to support their development; working with the head chef on menu development by tasting and suggesting improvements or innovations; and maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen including your designated area and ensuring equipment is in good working order.

Requirements

Experience
Proven experience working as a Commis Chef or in a similar role.
Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
