The Growth Equity business within Goldman Sachs Asset Management has invested over $16 billion since 2003 in growth-stage, technology-driven companies across multiple industries including enterprise technology, financial technology, and healthcare. The team comprises more than 65 professionals focused exclusively on growth equity investing.
As an Associate in Growth Equity Investing, you will be integrally involved in all aspects of the investment cycle including sourcing, identifying and evaluating attractive investment themes and opportunities; building relationships with management teams, senior advisors, and external industry experts; performing due diligence; financing and closing investments; and developing, monitoring, and implementing value creation strategies at portfolio companies. This role requires thriving in a lean, fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment with a strong commitment to client success and long-term value creation.
Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification with an excellent academic and professional record. Between 2-4 years of experience at a leading investment bank, strategy consulting firm, and/or an investment role, ideally within the technology sector.
