We are recruiting two part-time Band 3 Receptionists to join the Gynae-Oncology / Colposcopy service on a fixed term or secondment basis. You will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day running of the Colposcopy three-session day service by providing front of house reception support. This is a new and exciting role offering the opportunity to shape the service and make a direct positive impact on patient experience.
The successful candidates will work closely with clinical teams to ensure patients are welcomed and registered efficiently and safely. You will be the first point of contact for patients, delivering exceptional customer service in a professional, polite, and caring manner. This role requires excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, the ability to manage your own workload and priorities, and a proactive, flexible, and can-do attitude.

Experience
- Experience working in a customer-focused, front-facing role
- Experience managing a high volume of patient or customer queries and prioritising work effectively

Qualifications
- Good general education including English and Maths to GCSE standard or equivalent
- Relevant NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification or experience
- Desirable: ECDL qualification
Skills
- Proficient IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent written, face-to-face, and telephone communication skills
- Desirable: Knowledge of medical terminology and experience with hospital administration systems such as PiMS
