Salary
£79,629 to £86,121 per annum (SMG3). All appointments will be offered at the minimum spinal column point (SCP) for the grade of the role unless matching current salary (up to the maximum of the scale) with evidential proof.

Reporting to the Director of Housing Strategy, you will lead the Housing Policies, Performance and Service Improvement service, working closely with the Directorate Extended Leadership Team. This key leadership role will strengthen policy, performance and service improvement activities to support delivery of the Housing Improvement Plan and drive change across the Directorate. You will develop data capability, improve data reliability, promote strategic use of insight and embed a performance culture rooted in transparency, collaboration and accountability.

Experience
Strong experience in policy development, data insight, performance management and service improvement. Proven ability to lead service improvement and change initiatives in a complex environment. Experience working with senior leadership teams and delivering strategic housing objectives is essential.

Qualifications
Hold Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) Level 5 qualification or be willing to work towards attaining it.
