About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and dedicated nursing leader to join the team as Head of Nursing for Inpatient Services. The Head of Nursing provides both strategic and operational nursing leadership across the Trust, ensuring the department delivers on all objectives while managing the delivery of wide clinical services. The role includes optimising patient flow, ensuring bed capacity is used efficiently, and maintaining safety and quality at all times.

Experience
Registered nurse on the NMC register. A successful track record of delivering effective Trust wide services as a Senior Nurse. Evidence of managing elective and emergency network demand in a large Trust. Experience in change management and the ability to clinically influence and lead staff.

About you
Strong organisational ability with well-developed resource and staff management skills. Ability to make difficult decisions within a complex environment. A collaborative approach to working with internal and external partners.

Qualifications
18 months experience in a site operations role. Evidence of leading and delivering successful strategic change. Understanding of the NHS emergency planning and business continuity agenda is desirable.
