About the Role
The Home Host role is pivotal in delivering an exceptional experience for all members and guests. You will greet everyone warmly, ensuring they have everything they need efficiently and proactively. You will manage the front desk with a “heads up” approach, setting up day passes, inducting visitors into the space, and confidently handling incoming sales calls, enquiries, and tours when the membership sales team is unavailable. Your responsibilities include restocking pantries and stationery cupboards, maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of every floor, and managing stock including monthly stock takes. You will create weekly, daily, and monthly reports for management as required and take real ownership of the front desk to ensure a smooth experience for members.
Additional duties include meeting room setup before and after meetings, booking and managing meeting room calendars, and processing all members’ mail and deliveries securely. You will be a key contact for members, responding promptly to requests and resolving issues via workplace communication. Supporting housekeeping and café teams during busy periods, covering breaks and shifts for the barista on the 12th floor, and assisting the engagement and management teams with member requests and engagement plans are also part of your role.
Following training, you will develop a solid knowledge of property management systems and adhere to all company standards and SOPs. You will be responsible for writing handovers and sending them to management, reporting maintenance and building issues including IT, and completing opening and closing checklists during building walkarounds. Ensuring prompt stocking of deliveries in storage cupboards and delivering orders to members’ desks are also key responsibilities.
This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a dynamic hospitality environment and is passionate about creating memorable experiences for members and guests.
Experience
Previous hospitality or customer-facing experience is advantageous but not essential. A natural ability to build and nurture long-lasting relationships is key.
About you
You are well-known and well-liked by those around you, with an intuitive understanding of members’ needs. You excel at growing and maintaining relationships, and hospitality is at the core of everything you do. You pay close attention to detail and care deeply about delivering excellent work. You seek a workplace where individuality is valued and egos are left at the door. You are passionate about creating memorable experiences for guests and colleagues alike, open to trying new approaches, and eager to be part of a supportive, hardworking team that enjoys having fun along the way.
Qualifications
There are no formal qualifications required for this role, but a willingness to learn and a positive attitude are essential. Training will be provided to help you settle into the role and develop your skills.
