About the Role
Are you a sous chef looking for your next great opportunity? Join Green & Fortune at the exciting new venue, One Southwark Bridge. This unique role offers the chance to make a significant impact in a brand-new setting where you will thrive in a dynamic environment, wearing many hats during new openings. You will collaborate closely with the Head Chef to develop and execute innovative menus for hospitality and event offerings, lead and train kitchen staff, and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the hospitality kitchen. Your responsibilities will include supervising food preparation and service during events, maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction, and ensuring compliance with food safety, health and safety, and hygiene regulations. You will also manage stock control, kitchen equipment maintenance, and foster a positive, team-oriented atmosphere even during busy and stressful periods. This role promotes a one-team approach within the venue and offers the opportunity to contribute to a high-performing, motivated kitchen team.
Experience
- Strong background in high-volume catering or hospitality kitchens, particularly in fast-paced environments
- Previous experience in Business & Industry (B&I) catering preferred
