Hours
Full Time - 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, predominantly office hours 9:00am to 5:30pm with some flexibility. Role requires being on-site 3 days per week, 2 days in-house at Canalside Office with home working. Occasional weekend work may be required.

Salary
£39,841 - £41,937 per annum

About the Role
Due to maternity cover, Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing (MTVH) is recruiting a skilled and experienced Local Housing Manager to provide excellent housing and estate services to shared owners and leaseholders within a defined geographical patch. As the Local Housing Manager, you will be the front-facing representative of MTVH, coordinating internal and external services to meet the diverse needs of customers by delivering high-quality services both individually and locally. You will manage relationships with Local Authorities and other Housing Association partners, and act as the point of contact for customers regarding anti-social behaviour complaints, estate services, tenancy management, tenancy enforcement, and resident involvement. This community-based role requires flexibility, strong communication, and a commitment to supporting local initiatives.

Experience
- Proven experience working in a social housing setting is essential
- Experience dealing with customers presenting complex or challenging needs
- Strong administration skills including managing inboxes, keys, and reporting
- Experience handling customer enquiries face to face, by phone, and in writing
- Ability to analyse customer feedback to drive service improvements
