Hours
Full Time - 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm. The role requires being on-site 3 days per week and office/home working for 2 days. Occasional flexibility including some weekend work may be required.

Salary
£39,841 - £41,937 per annum

About the Role
Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing (MTVH) is recruiting a skilled and experienced Local Housing Manager, known internally as a Housing Officer, to provide excellent housing and estate services within a defined geographical patch. As the front-facing representative of MTVH, you will coordinate internal and external services to meet the diverse needs of our customers, delivering high-quality services both individually and locally. This role involves managing relationships with Local Authorities and other Housing Association partners, handling general anti-social behaviour complaints, estate services, tenancy management, tenancy enforcement, and lettings management. You will be expected to support local initiatives and occasionally work outside standard hours to meet community needs. This is a community-based role requiring a proactive, flexible, and customer-focused approach.

Experience
- Proven experience working in a social housing setting is essential
- Experience working with customers presenting complex or challenging needs is essential
- Experience within a supported housing environment is desirable
- Strong administration skills including managing inboxes, keys, and reporting
- Experience dealing with customers face to face, on the phone, and in writing
- Ability to analyse customer feedback to drive service improvements
