The Secrets and Encryption Services team, part of the Identity and Access Management business unit within the Core Engineering Division, is dedicated to protecting the firm and its clients from cyberthreats such as credential compromise. We are on a transformational journey to uplift credential management infrastructure and improve the firm's security posture.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Site Reliability Platform Engineer (SRE) to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of mission-critical, high-availability, high-throughput systems and infrastructure. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams and implement best practices in SRE, DevOps, and cybersecurity to enhance operational efficiency and security.

Key responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining highly available, scalable, and secure systems on AWS cloud services; monitoring system performance and security; troubleshooting and resolving issues across environments; automating infrastructure provisioning and deployment with a focus on security; managing CI/CD pipelines; ensuring infrastructure compliance with industry standards; providing technical leadership and mentoring; and working closely with development, product, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment.

Experience
- Deep understanding of high-availability systems architecture with the ability to design and administer scalable, robust systems.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Services and supporting Windows & Linux environments.
- Proficient with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of observability tools for monitoring and logging, including Prometheus, Grafana, and BQL.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Ability to proactively identify operational risks and vulnerabilities.
- Strong communication and technical leadership skills to collaborate effectively with global cross-functional teams.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both client and technical audiences.
- Passionate about learning new technologies and products.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, platform infrastructure, or related roles.
- Experience in finance or other highly regulated industries is desirable but not essential.
