About the Role
Join the Millennium Family at our prestigious 4-star property located in the heart of Knightsbridge. As an experienced Income Auditor/Finance Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of the Finance department, ensuring all M&C procedures and targets are met. Your responsibilities will include performing daily audits of revenue from all hotel outlets such as Rooms, Food & Beverage, Events, and other ancillary revenue streams. You will verify revenue recordings in the Property Management System (PMS), Point of Sale (POS), and accounting systems, reconcile daily revenue reports, cash receipts, credit card transactions, bank transfers, and city ledger accounts. You will review room rates, packages, discounts, complimentary stays, rebates, and allowances to ensure proper authorization and promptly investigate and resolve discrepancies and unusual transactions. Ensuring compliance with hotel financial policies, procedures, and internal controls is essential, as is monitoring adherence to revenue recognition policies and accounting standards. Additional duties include reviewing voids, refunds, discounts, paid outs, and corrections for appropriate approvals, identifying weaknesses in financial controls and recommending improvements, assisting with internal and external audits, preparing and distributing the Daily Revenue Report, producing revenue analysis reports, maintaining accurate audit files, assisting with month-end closing activities, verifying daily cash deposits, reconciling credit card settlements, following up on disputed transactions, and collaborating closely with Front Office, Reservations, Food & Beverage, Events, and Finance teams. You will also provide guidance and support to operational departments regarding revenue procedures.

Experience
Minimum 2 years' experience in an Income Auditor, Accounts Receivable, General Cashier, or Finance role within a hotel environment. Proven knowledge of Opera Cloud and Micros POS systems. Strong understanding of hotel operations, revenue streams, and financial controls. Experience working with hotel PMS and POS systems. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools. Strong analytical and reconciliation skills with excellent attention to detail.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Hospitality Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience is desirable. Part-qualified AAT, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent accounting qualification is an advantage.
