About the Role
As part of the Index Review Team at London Stock Exchange Group, you will maintain the integrity and accuracy of indexes by reviewing data to ensure completeness, authenticity, accuracy, and timeliness. Your responsibilities will include conducting eligibility checks on equities potentially entering FTSE Russell indices, raising any issues or concerns to your line manager, and reporting exceptions promptly. You will also highlight and recommend process improvements to enhance quality and productivity. The role encourages continuous skill development through training opportunities and involves supporting the onboarding of new business and methodology updates through precise and accurate documentation. Collaboration and partnership across teams are highly valued, and you will be expected to actively engage and assist others where needed.

Experience
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate the effects and impact of index rebalances and reviews on end clients through timely investigation and resolution of queries. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Commitment to growing and developing a broad understanding across a range of indexes while staying abreast of market standards and common terminology.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Understanding of investment management and portfolio construction across asset classes. Knowledge of performance measurement and portfolio analysis concepts. Proficiency in Excel and experience with a structured programming language such as VBA or SQL. A Master’s degree (MS or MBA) in finance, financial engineering, economics, or statistics is desirable.
