About the Role
Mace combines construction expertise with consultancy to unlock potential in every person or project and redefine the boundaries of ambition. Our values shape the way we consult and define the people we want to join us on our journey.

The UK energy sector will need to invest up to £900 billion of capital expenditure to enable a net zero economy by 2050. For our clients in this sector, this means delivering complex projects and programmes focused on low-carbon technologies and infrastructure, safely, efficiently, and at pace.

As an Information Manager, you will support the development of strategies, standards, and management plans, and lead the delivery of the Information Management (IM) discipline for client projects and programmes to ensure efficient information management and successful outcomes. You will deliver IM process and system training and act as the supporting lead for IM on projects and programmes.

You will develop and implement processes aligned with ISO 19650, including how information is produced and assured for digital delivery. Key responsibilities include defining and delivering IM strategies, standards, and processes; establishing and managing the project/programme IM function; training colleagues in IM practices; managing assurance and quality control of documents and artefacts; line managing and coaching the IM team; contributing to the global digital centre of excellence; supporting bids with IM strategies and solutions; and contributing to the setup and development of the common data environment (CDE).

Working collaboratively, you will share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of carbon emissions and reductions during project delivery, supporting the common goal of net zero carbon transition.

Requirements

Experience
Strong experience in Information Management, document control, and ISO 19650 standards. Proven expertise with IM platforms such as Aconex, Viewpoint, and common data environment (CDE) systems.

About you
Skilled communicator and negotiator, effective with stakeholders at all levels. Collaborative, organised, and able to independently manage processes while training others. Committed to safety, client focus, integrity, and continuous improvement aligned with Mace’s values.

Qualifications
Technical IM qualifications relevant to the role and experience with digital delivery standards including ISO 19650.
