About the Role
An exciting opportunity to lead on the development of international relationships and play a key role in the delivery of an ambitious commercial strategy has arisen. The post-holder will be responsible for maintaining and developing existing international relationships, whilst also developing new referral pathways for private patient services. The International Business Development Manager will lead on relationship management for international referrals to Evelina Clinical Group & GSTT Adults private patient services. The post-holder will support the Private Patient Management team in developing the international & private patient business for adult and paediatric services at Evelina London (including paediatric services at the Royal Brompton), St Thomas’ and Guys sites. They will also work in close collaboration with colleagues within the Integrated Specialist Medicine, Cancer & Surgery and Heart, Lung & Critical Care Groups. They will lead on local and international business development activities to support the delivery of an ambitious commercial plan, working in close collaboration with internal and external partners.

Requirements

Experience
Knowledge of Middle Eastern healthcare systems, referral pathways and treatment abroad infrastructure. Experience of UK healthcare systems, including private patient healthcare services, patient expectations and service requirements. Experience of developing commercial relationships. Experience working in daily coordination with several different teams and stakeholders.

About you
The ability to work with a high degree of flexibility, including on-call arrangements. Ability to work in complex, changing or ambiguous situations. Ability to drive and implement change to the service. Ability to develop strong working relationships with diverse professional groups and teams.

Qualifications
Ability to write and present reports. Ability to analyse and present complex information. Ability to use complex information to inform commercial decision making.
