As a Junior Footwear Designer, you will contribute to the creation of innovative and stylish footwear, working closely with the design team to develop collections that embody the Carvela brand ethos.

Experience
Previous experience in footwear design is essential. Proven ability to produce high quality work to targets and tight deadlines.

About you
You have a flair for design with great creativity and imagination. Passionate about the fashion industry, you possess knowledge of both major designer brands as well as exciting new brands. You are able to produce original ideas based on upcoming trends and are flexible with the ability to forge a strong branded aesthetic across multiple product categories. Confident in presenting your designs both formally and informally, you have practical knowledge and experience of production methods. You can work independently without supervision while being an effective team player. A strong understanding of Carvela, its collections and brand identity is required.

Qualifications
Relevant qualifications in footwear design or fashion design are preferred but not explicitly stated. A strong portfolio demonstrating your design skills and creativity is highly recommended.
