About the Role
Kurt Geiger is an inclusive, creative footwear and accessories brand powered by kindness, inspired by the energy and spirit of London. As a Footwear Designer, you will develop customer and market-focused product collections each season, aligned with company strategy and brand identity. You will research trends, new materials, trims, and colour palettes to design original products and spot opportunities for new shapes and enhancements to the current range. Your responsibilities include producing detailed specifications with technical drawings for new product developments and sample modifications, working closely with the Buying team to ensure production details meet the brand’s quality standards, and finalising aesthetics of approved designs for production. You will be expected to produce high-quality work to targets and tight deadlines and attend trend and material fairs or visit suppliers as required.

Experience
Open to all levels of experience in footwear design. Practical knowledge and experience of production methods is essential.

- Passionate about the fashion industry with knowledge of both major designer brands and exciting new brands
- Ability to produce original ideas based on upcoming trends
- Flexible with the ability to forge a strong branded aesthetic across multiple product categories
- Confident in presenting your designs both formally and informally
- Able to work independently while being a collaborative team member
- Understanding of the Kurt Geiger collections and brand identity
