About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic KS1 Class Teacher to join James Dixon Primary School on a maternity cover basis starting ASAP until September 2026. This role involves working as part of a multi-disciplinary team under leadership staff, supporting individuals and groups, including pupils with SEN, supervising physical and general care, enabling pupil access, and managing the classroom environment.

Requirements

Experience
Experience working with children is desirable but not explicitly required. Enthusiasm and a willingness to work flexibly are essential.

About you
You should be enthusiastic, enjoy working with children, and have strong subject knowledge. The ability to establish good relationships with pupils and staff is essential. You will be expected to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and support pupils including those with SEN.

Qualifications
