About the Role
Are you an experienced and creative learning professional who can design and deliver engaging development experiences that make a real difference? We are looking for a Learning & Organisational Development Trainer to join the Learning and Organisational Development team within People & HR at the City of London Corporation. In this varied and rewarding role, you will design, deliver and evaluate high-quality learning interventions across a broad range of organisational and departmental priorities. You will facilitate workshops for individuals, teams and people managers; work closely with stakeholders to diagnose learning needs; and use blended learning approaches, including digital content, to ensure development is accessible, practical and impactful.
This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in shaping learning across the City Corporation, contributing to strategic organisational development and helping colleagues achieve their full potential in a dynamic and evolving environment. The position is offered on a fixed-term contract until 31st December 2026 with a hybrid working pattern.
Experience
Proven experience designing and delivering effective learning and development interventions, ideally within a complex organisation and with a strong focus on supporting people managers.
About you
Confident facilitator and communicator with excellent planning and organisational skills. Strong IT capability and a commitment to delivering inclusive, innovative, and high-quality learning experiences.
Qualifications
A recognised Learning & Development or training qualification is essential, such as a PGCE or CIPD Certificate in Training Practice.
