About the Role
The City of London Corporation’s Digital & Information Technology Service (DITS) is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join its Enterprise Architecture function supporting the City of London Police. This senior technical role involves shaping secure, resilient, and innovative technology solutions across a complex, multi-tenant Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environment that serves both corporate and policing needs.

Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Architecture, you will ensure technology solutions align with architectural principles, technical standards, and UK policing technology and security requirements. You will lead the design and development of solutions, produce high-quality architecture documentation in line with TOGAF and ArchiMate, and provide technical leadership to internal teams and third-party suppliers.

Key responsibilities include designing solutions that meet distinct requirements for data segregation and security, presenting architectural designs to governance boards, managing architectural risks, ensuring compliance with technical and security standards, and maintaining awareness of emerging technologies and UK policing technology developments.

This role offers the opportunity to influence architectural direction, introduce modern technology solutions, and contribute to secure, resilient services supporting both the City of London Corporation and City of London Police.
